This visit and exchange by the delegation serve as a return visit and a crucial implementation step following the memorandum of understanding signed between the two parties in Uzbekistan in January 2025. During the exchange meeting, the delegation head, Ilhom, stated that in recent years, with the rapid economic development of Uzbekistan, the infrastructure construction sector faces numerous challenges, such as those related to technical personnel, planning and design, construction standards, new technologies, and new materials. He remarked that TMEDI, as a benchmark enterprise in China's survey and design field, has achieved remarkable accomplishments in the infrastructure sector. Its talent pool, project experience, and technological innovation capabilities left a deep impression on the delegation. He expressed hope for continued in-depth cooperation between the two sides to support the high-quality development of Uzbekistan's infrastructure sector.

Yu Lijun extended a warm welcome to the visiting delegation from Uzbekistan and provided a detailed introduction covering TMEDI's organizational structure, production organization, technological innovation, talent cultivation, and engineering achievements, drawing on the institute's years of development experience. He stated that Uzbekistan's infrastructure construction is showing vigorous development momentum, possessing tremendous potential and broad prospects. TMEDI will fully leverage its experience and technical advantages, actively respond to the calls of the Uzbek government, deeply participate in more major infrastructure and urban construction projects, and contribute its wisdom and strength to the economic and social development of Uzbekistan. Simultaneously, TMEDI will further promote cooperation between the two sides in more fields through technological innovation and knowledge sharing.

At the signing ceremony, Zhang Honghai, Vice General Manager of TMEDI, and the representative from the Uzbek side signed the cooperation agreement.

Also attending the discussion and signing ceremony were Wang Yan, Vice General Manager of TMEDI; Hu Jiang, Market Director and Head of the Market Operations Department; Li Hongxiang, Market Director and Dean of the Second Institute; Xie Chengxiao, Head of the Strategic Investment Department; Zhou Li, Dean of the Landscape Architecture Institute; and Chen Xi, Chief Representative of the Central Asia Representative Office.
