Tianjin Municipal Engineering Design & Research Institute and OVM Company Sign Strategic Cooperation Agreement
On May 28th, Tianjin Municipal Engineering Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd. and Liuzhou OVM Machinery Co., Ltd. conducted work and technical exchanges in Liuzhou and signed a strategic cooperation agreement. Participating in the meeting and signing ceremony were Zhao Jianwei, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Tianjin Haihe Design Group Co., Ltd., Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Tianjin Municipal Engineering Design & Research Institute, and Chairman of Tianjin Investigation and Design Association; Cao Jing, National Engineering Survey and Design Master and Deputy General Manager of the Institute; Lu Jun, Dean of the 5th Design Institute; Xu Ru, Deputy Secretary-General of Tianjin Investigation and Design Association; Chen Yupeng, General Manager and Director of OVM; Xie Zhengyuan, Deputy General Manager and Chief Engineer of OVM; and Li He, General Manager of Domestic Marketing Center.
Chen Yupeng, General Manager of OVM, reviewed the company's development history and comprehensively introduced the current state of technology application in fields such as bridges, nuclear power, photovoltaics, wind power, and LNG. He expressed the aspiration to strengthen continuous and multi-level communication and exchanges between the two parties, fully leverage their respective strengths, deepen all-round pragmatic cooperation, and promote the implementation of more cooperative achievements and high-quality projects.
Xie Zhengyuan, Chief Engineer of OVM, delivered a special technical report titled "Transformation of Prestressed Technology Innovation Achievements and Future Planning," detailing OVM's technological advancements and the practical application of innovative outcomes in various fields.
Zhao Jianwei, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Tianjin Municipal Engineering Design & Research Institute, highly acknowledged OVM's achievements in prestressed technology and technological innovation. He stated, "OVM places great emphasis on technological innovation, fully embodying its corporate vision of 'growing into a world-class expert in full lifecycle services for the prestressed industry.' Both parties possess complementary resources and vast cooperation prospects. We hope to seize the opportunity of signing this strategic cooperation agreement to continually deepen cooperation with OVM, jointly explore technological research and development in traditional transportation, urban renewal, and strategic emerging fields, attempt to jointly apply for awards for key projects, and achieve mutual complementarity and win-win results."
Under the witness of the attending leaders, Tianjin Municipal Engineering Design & Research Institute and Liuzhou OVM Machinery Co., Ltd. signed the strategic cooperation agreement.
After the meeting, both parties retraced the route taken by General Secretary Xi Jinping during his inspection of Guangxi Liugong Group Co., Ltd. in 2021, conducting on-site joint party building activities. Through field visits to the enterprise's reform and innovation, as well as the development of manufacturing, they profoundly felt the practical significance of General Secretary Xi Jinping's statement that "core technologies, key technologies, and essential tools of the nation must be based on our own efforts." This inspired a firm commitment to implementing an innovation-driven development strategy, vigorously pursuing independent R&D of core technologies, and fostering enthusiasm for innovation and creativity in developing new types of productive forces.
